Hai! Welcome back!

So... you want to steal a 280zx? Sweet! I keep forgetting... they changed the law so that stealing cars is legal. I guess I should start stealing cars too...

ironically enough, if you did a search you would have found that there are posts on here on how to hot wire a S30 and its the same for an S130. however, my view is this guy is officially a troll... i wonder if his IP matches another members on here, otherwise he is just a normal troll and we go unlucky enough to get his crap.

VOTE: ban.... permanent and by IP that will teach em!

It's gotta be a troll. Either that person from cardomain or someone from another Z forum who really dislikes Zdriver? Or someone who just hates the people who frequent Zdriver? Someone who outran his Honda in a 280ZX and had a Zdriver.Com sticker on their car so he knew where to come?

in a way... i know the whole story about that. its legal by prescription and even then....

also, im still a little iffy aboot this guy but he seems to be ok right now. and just so you know i have a 90 240sx and my buddy has a coupe 94 accord both our cars are manual, they are the exact same speed. the SX is alot more fun though IMHO (less practical of a back seat though) its got a tight turning radius i can do circles in this car tighter than any other car i have driven in my life and being its RWD and manual and steers so good its the most fun i've had in a car in winter so far, other than maybe my Z32, but i could barely control that car with the wide tires much more TQ it had and the LSD made snow driving always crazy, in the SX its only crazy on command and very predictable

If you still need a walk through on hotwiring the 240-280zx then look me up. but forewarning, my lessons are in-person only. Meet me at Joe's Crab Shack on 29th and Sunnylane. 5pm sharp.

PS: prolly would be a good idea to bring a dozen donuts.

you mean a 77 280Z? i think you would be better off keeping the accord for a daily driver and the 280zx you already have now and just work on it, that or swap the ZX for the 77. but either way that accord is a good daily driver and i would keep it around for your main source of transportation

I agree. The Accord is just ridiculously reliable and cheap to maintain.

The ZX motor in the '77 is a very easy and common swap although you're not going to get too much performance improvement since the '77 is already a 2.8L EFI motor. Depending on what year your 280ZX is, you may get a better head design than what's currently in the '77.

Red face yah i like the 240z front end.

yah i agree the accord is a very relibable car but the cluth is almost gone on mine and im havin trouble shifting and i hate how it handles it starts shaking at like 75mph but yah anyways wats wrong wit me gettin a 240z and wats wat the muffler tip comment? i would suggest that u put that bottle of haterade down and go watch the antique roadshow with your kitty Mr.boots. so yah i really like the Z32 90 300zx i was wondering if they made a 5spd with the twin turbo cuz im havin trouble locating one.....but anywayz im really tryin to get a new job so i can more stuff for my rides but i filled out 10 applications already with no luck i guess the reccesion is starting to bloom...but anywayz shady how did u guys race? dont u live in canada>?

yes thy made an abundance of Z32's manual in the twin turbo format more than auto's i believe, they are expensive to buy and expensive to maintain though and not a car i would suggest to someone that wants to get rid of an accord cause the clutch is almost gone and it shakes at 75mph.
