painted my valve cover!!!

Well since my car is still not running right I decided to paint my valve cover. I'll post pics as soon as I'm done with it.



I have t/s my fuel issue down to the thermostat connections on the front of the engine. I'll have to buy some new bosche injector plugs to redo the wiring to see if that fixes my problem.

I Know I Know I Know!!!! The Paint Has To Dry Before I Finish... And It Was Dark Outside And Did Not Want To Bring It In All Smelly Like...

So Should I Pollish The Lettering Or Leave It The Same Color As The Valve Cover? The Color Is Grabber Green (lime Green)

yeah.. thats what i did when i painted my Z32 calipers. scrapped the paint off were it said nissan made i shiny. looks much better. dont leave teh letter painted... oh no oh no

i did oposite on my valve cover, made the lines and nissan yellow, the rest is silver, but it would look good with the shiney and the green.

That sick, very nice.....you should dremmel off them mounting points for the injector fan....thats what i'm going to do..

looks great! And if you grind down the holes like WreckJ30 suggested, you have to weld up the holes that it leaves, I did that and it looks much better.

hehe, or if you can't tig, you can leave them screws in and grind them off to..dam, i'm sharing all my secrets..lol.

You could JB-Weld the holes instead of TIGing them closed. You're going to paint it anyway... no one will know...

im putting the fan back on to cool the injector gallery, and wire it up to switched, so that way cool fuel means fast car

the fan is just not my style. I got a way I am going to cool my gas before they ever get to the injector's.

i know how to do that fub..redneck style..lol..cut a hole in a coffee can, but it around your gas tank neck...but ice in the cup and walla, colder gas...old racers trick..
