Hello... I am about to pick up an 83 ZX NA for a pretty cheap price, runs good pretty straight body but painted primer brown i should be picking it up in about a month or so. i am in phoenix az area and looking to see if anyone is around to bump heads with to talk about the car. i am also thinking about doing an RB20 swap on it since i have one i will be getting that is already been slightly modified. anyone out there that has done an RB swap on one yet?

ahh youtube it and you should find a plethera of engine swaps... and btw welcome to zdriver!!!

 

RB swaps are common in Z-cars, but mostly the 1970-78 models. I've seen pictures of a couple RB25DET engines in a 280ZX.
The RB20DET should fit fine.
