New to the forum. My first 280ZX
Well, I didn't get much response on trying to sell my 280ZX, so, I'll park it in the garage till I can play with it later. Pics back up...

Welcome, you picked the right forum. There are some "Z" smart guys here but I am not one of them. The car looks like it is in good shape. The big thing to worry about is rust. Good luck

w00t! Welcome to ZDriver!
First things first... Buy a 280zx Haynes manual. It has everything you'll need for minor & major repairs. And for parts... the junk yard is a good start. For new parts, check out our "Where to buy parts" thread: https://www.zdriver.com/forums/240z-280zxt-s30-s130-tech-tips-275/where-buy-parts-your-280zx-18264/

I see that most of you guys on this forum are much younger than I am. Am I like the oldest dude on here? I can remember when 45 was old, now that I am here, I don't feel tardy...

I dont' think 2+2 shocks are all that much taller or stronger. I put 2-seater shocks in my 2+2 I had, and it rode higher in back.... both versions of the car rode soft and the 2+2 is only about 120 pounds heavier, mostly in the rear but some of that weight is shared by the front suspension.
A passenger weighs usually over 120 pounds. You don't see the car dropping 2 inches when someone gets into the car do you?
