my rims
I just finished them, they took about 2 hours each, maybe a little less. I did one every saturday morning for 4 weeks. :icon_super:, a ton of elbow grease, steel wool/soap combo and a little black rustoleum paint :D

did the steel whool scratch any? I didn't even polish them, I just rubbed them with steel wool lol so I guess I could make them shine more :D I didn't use clear coat either, every saturday I go over them for a couple minutes to keep them shiny. Last time, the clear turned green like in the before pic. |
You actually should clearcoat them... Bare aluminum corrodes very quickly.

|
mothers or rolite?
there was also one that started with 1000 but I forget the rest. http://www.topoftheline.com/electricpolishingball.html ^^ I was thinking about purchasing one of those, they are made from felt instead of the typical foam ones and would probably work well. any opinions? |
