It's a white 1981 280zx, with a burgundy interior.
It needs some work, but I like it a lot.

that's a nice 1st car. My first was a crappy Datsun 310

 

Yeah it has around 150,000 miles on it though, the interior needs some work, I already got new seats, and I'm getting new carpet soon. Oh and its missing various things such as visors and the plastic around the door handles. i also need the plastic cover for the main cabin light.

The exterior is in pretty good shape, except for right under the front bumper, and the side skirt metal, there is little notches and stuff from rocks hitting it and whatnot. I think the previous owner might have docked it onto some curbs as well.

but for $2,450, i thought it was a pretty good deal.

Edit: oh and it has some small holes in the muffler, so basically it sounds retarded. I'm saving up for a new one.

 

An exhaust shop should be able to hook you up w/ a nice Euro muffler for about $100.

Your car won't sound like that... turbo motors have a different exhaust sound. Borla is good, I just want to make sure you understand it won't sound just like that.

 

Yeah I know, it was just the closest thing i could find to having a borla on a 280zx.

congrats on a great first car. lol my first was an MG midget and i'll say it's good to have an old car first because you get to appreciate it too much to wreck it because you spend all your time and money working on it! all my friends were wrecking and i was wiping my car with a shammy!
