because it is from a manual transmission car, it should give you more power! A turbo starter would be even better. I'm going to install one of those.

Why would a turbo starter give you more power? The base compression is lower so there would be less resistance to cranking.

i think i figg out the diff.... the flywheel in a MT car is diff than the flywheel from a AT car.... if i tryed to put a AT starter in a MT car it would not work..........this is becuace the flywheels from a MT car are thicker and sit out farther .....the MT starter has a slider on the bendicks .. not so on the AT one no slider and dif stlye bendicks...the AT starter in the MT car would just spin because the bendicks wouldn't slide out far eff to touch the flywheel .... with the flywheel sitting closer on the AT trany , it makes it eazyer on the MT bendicks ..IT slides out and getts about half way hitts the flywheel stops and spins...... if you look at both starters you will undstand what i mean :) i figg it out today when i went back to the pick and pull we, me and a friend of mine pull a gts corolla from there to here.. he is going to pull the motor and trany and swap out the sr5 moitor that he has in hes car already ... well any way the pick and pull is going to sell me the motor from the 1980 280zx for $100 bill its all ther - the stuff i pulled aready... i think i want to boar the block over and turbo it {overtime} that way i will have a motor already for red when this one dies  can i say turbo euc and a bunch of goodies :D more $$$$$$$ :D
