japan
well I plan to frequent the local parts houses and junkyards looking for rare or hard to come by parts. I will update every now and again with pictures so just let me know lol
they have strawberry kit kats?! i don't like waffers they have a funny texture but thats good for japan. and yeah you should ****** up a proudear Z31 front end they would sell for big bucks here in the states!
good luck with that. From what I have been told hard to find parts over here are just as if not more rare over there, especially for older cars.
well im not really looking for anything, but what i am asked to find, im just exploring really finding what i can. Its really for any z i just want to get more stuff out there. So anything even if its small cant hurt
good luck even people in japan can't get those things but if you found one it would be an investment but i believe the heads cost some crazy amount like 20K because there were only like 8 sets made but correct me if im wrong.
I believe you are right. I have a magazine somewhere with an article about them.
yes your right on the dhc heads there were 9 made and i know where three are some were destroyed in racing if i where to find one it would be something i would try and get a mold made from but thats even if i can find one lol
will look for the suspension parts just found out i rate a vehicle thinkin of getting a 260 maybe definitely an s30 though

It is VERY difficult getting little stuff for older Z's in Japan. A few places that specialize in Z's can source stuff, but you're not going to find them in junkyards anymore. Those days are long gone! Hell, just finding an S-13 Silvia or 180SX is starting to become problematic. My last time living in Japan, I saw ONE S130 in a junkyard...and it disappeared quickly. Yahoo Auctions is your best bet...start studying Katakana & Hiragana so you can search intelligently. And yes, there was a Japanese speaking bitching betty in some of the early 80's Nissan's, but my Dad's rhd 79 ZX that we brought back didn't have it. I lived there as a kid (middle school) from 82-85, and again from 2000-2006. Was trying to get back, but Uncle Sam has other plans...
