I'm still kicking ...
Hey all ... it's been awhile since I've posted (or even visited) zdriver.com. Just thought I'd let y'all know I'm still around. Still got the '81 2+2, but sold the Volvo. Since my last visits, I've snagged a red '86 Rx7, and have done some major renovation to my Zed. The surface rust is gone, car is primed, and ready for paint and new fenders. Engine has been rebuilt with new rings, valvesprings, shims and lifters. Interior's been cleaned up ... the metal's ready for paint and floormats.
Also while I was out, I have been looking into buying an '82 2+2 slicktop (rare?) from a friend of mine. Has a rebuilt, balanced, and blueprinted L28 running close to 250hp at the crank ... has around 3 miles on the new engine. Ceramic coated header, no exhaust; clean (but well-used) interior, and the paint could use a good buff. I could snag the car, an extra L28, T5 trans, and R200 diff for $1500. I might move on that one. Also still looking at the '77 Z I found in a junkyard nearby.
Well, just thought I'd check back ... I haven't forgotten this place
