Iam Back

Iam back.. whats up all......... MOVING WENT GOOD THE NEW HOUSE IS CHILL.......... well i cant fig out how to change my name IS THERE A WAY TO DO THIS ................
I TOOK THE HEAD BACK OFF.......IT BROKE TWO VALES AND HIT ON EVERY PISTON
IAM WAS so bummed ..so i made some calls and i found a head for $225.00 ....... so iam going to try and pick it up this week maybe gaskets to i dont no..... i got some paper work on how to set the cam right AND ON SHAVEING YOUR HEAD iam going to scan it and post it for everyone ......... JUST TO LET EVERYONE KNOW THAT IF YOU HAVE YOUR HEAD SHAVED YOU HAVE TO BUY A SHIM KIT OR YOUR VALES WILL HIT YOUR PISTONS .........I WISH I WOULD HAVE KNOWEN THAT BEFOR .

IAM GOING TO TRY TO GET THIS RIGHT THIS TIME



ANY HELP WOULD BE GOOD

sorry to hear that

Bummer man, sorry to hear about your dilemna. Well look at the bright side. You more than likely won't do it again!LOL. You learn something new everyday, as the saying goes. Anyway glad to hear you got moved in your new place okay. Keep us up on the rebuild. And soon I will post pictures of my projects. I am working on restoring the interior in my '82 280zx. I know people shave the head and never hit valves on pistons. My best guess is either the shop shaved the head WAY too much, or you got the timing chain installed wrong.

I'll stop by later this month and we'll get it all worked out.
