the tag on my car says it weighs 3600 lbs. the sticker under the center cousoul sais i can hold a payload of 660 lbs max thats like 4250 it seems like alot and the car is soo tiny. some ppl say that 3600 is how much the car weighs with that payload included leaving the car at 2950. so how many lbs does a zx 2+2 actually weigh. or just a zx for that matter

 

I think the common consent from all the other recent threads asking this... is about 2900lbs.

 

This is a continuing question, but yea. According to the Z Specifications chart online, and the Haynes guide, a 280ZX roughly weighs about 2800lbs, whereas a 2+2 Weighs roughly about 2900lbs.

 

that tag on your car shows how much your car would weigh with 4 passangers (since you've got a 2+2)

why car manufacturers put that information on the car instead of the weight of the car itself is beyond me
