Hi. I'm new
Just wanted to say what's up to everyone. I just found this site today while looking for car parts. Anyway, I needed to find people to share my excitement with. I just purchased a 1981 Fairlady Z from a friend of mine down here in Albuquerque, yes, a true RHD Fairlady from Japan. :hpydance:
Hey man, hows it going in your neck 'o da woods?? Its funny because I just found this site today too!! I just bought a 1979 280ZX a few weeks ago. I'm getting antsy to work on it because its in storage till spring so its a bit frustrating... anywho welcome and I hope we find what we're looking for.

The whole rear of the car is angled differently than a 2-seater. That is what I mean by the hatch is different. Shims won't make it look right. Look at pictures of the 2-seater one. Then see how your car's rear sticks out more and the whole angle of the rear hatch is different. I have a 2+2 as well. There are a couple other designs that are made to be used on the 2+2 but after looking at them I decided to just get rid of the rear wiper arm and leave the back clean. I see your car didnt' have a rear wiper.
I am really jealous of all these newbies that snag sharp turbo coupes and 2+2s ... especially you, Snook, with your RHD Fairlady. Looks like I'll be making a road trip down to NM when I get my Volvo registered ...
Welcome, welcome, everybody! Always a pleasure to see fresh faces, ideas, etc. It's so good to see the Z community growing everyday! But enough rambling from me ...
