Gauges

I'm looking to replace my factory gauges, boost, clock, oil

what would ya recommend, I was thinking Auto meter and is i'm not mistaken its 2 5/8 is the size i need. Are the electircal or mecanical? and how hard are the to install?

They are electrical and the 3-gauge "cluster" is easy to remove, but it may not be so easy to replace them since they are all inside a single housing.

You'll have to make your own mounts to hold each individual gauge behind the dash or you'll have to gut the stock cluster and modify it to hold your new gauges.

Here's a pic of the housing removed from the dash:

The exterior of the car is Red so I thought it would break up the interior a little..I didnt use my stock housing like most due..I wanted to bring mine out more flush with the dash as pictured above..Although I also made a custom bracket that holds the gauges in place,,the Red rings also keep the gauges very snug...

I have a set of those..that have been sitting for 3 years or so. I think they look cool as shiz. But the problem is...they don't make them in the 130 speedometer. Which I think is lame...so anyway they won't ever be in my Z. Until they can make them with the bigger speedometer.

All in all...they do look sweet in your Z apollo.

Yes. It can be a bit of a challenge with the clock steam that sticks out.... remove the air temp sensor tube if you have the auto climate control....
