Angry Gas Prices

Hey guys and gals, are these gas prices bothering you at all? I ask because I just saw this pic

Attachment 4618

The price of gas is getting a bit out of hand and yet I still see just as many people if not more driving around like "oh well" Are we all just accepting this or does anyone really care if they are this high?

Maybe some of you can post your locality and gas prices so we can see how different they are across the country...and Canada

Pinellas County Florida...West of Tampa
Sunoco gas station
87 / $2.89
89 / $2.99
93 / $3.09

In southern cali it was anywhere from 3.59 to 3.89
They get you even harder in those remote cities where there is no more gas for 100 miles in any direction... that's what up with that pic of four bucks a gallon. I only needed a quarter tank but I filled up because I was there.

I just filled up with a 1/2 tank of **** gas 91 octane and it was at 3.59 a gallon... The price of gas has jumped up 30 cents in the last 2 weeks. This is robbery. I stay out of boost as much as I can.

$3.09 here for 87, $3.19 for 89, and $3.29 for 91. And it keeps going higher everyday. But I only have to fill my Z every 2 weeks. But the Celica every weekend. Because I use it for delivering pizzas. The Z just takes me to my full time job during the week, and if I go out on the weekend.

It's kinda hard to report them for price gouging when every station around is gouging at the same price point...

The Arco AM/PM across from my shop is at $3.49 for regular 87 octane unleaded right now...

Hmmm... Let's see... $3.49 per gallon times 22.9 gallons equals... $79.92 to fill our tanks if they are empty!

Since I use premium and it's at $3.89 it would take me just short of 90 BUCKS to fill my car.

Time to buy a civic.

Just kidding

Rod.

You had me there for a second!

$38 to fill the tank in my Civic and it lasts for nearly 400 miles...

$90 to fill the tank in my ZXT and it lasts for 17 MONTHS!!! HAHAHAHA... Hey, wait a minute... That gas has probably turned to varnish by now...

here in b.c. canada gas is 1.20 per liter for 87. that 4.00 a gallon isnt it. or gov. takes 50% of total price in taxes. we can get 94 octane here, but itll cost an extra 15 cents a liter, i use 91 or 92 for mine and costs about 11 cents more, that and for 50 liters, i get 30 km out of it, that about 70 bucks for 300 km. ouch!!! i gotta tune this thing, i used to get 600 km to a tank

Holy cow, yeah that sucks bad! The sad thing is, who are we gonna complain to? It's not like we are allowed to make our own fuel...how convinent that the law favors the government who in tern (BUSH!) supports big oil... Government of the people for the people my ***!! It's like we are all ants working for the government...I bet they all have gas cards too!! No offense icice9.

Needles, California. Right off the end of hwy 95 the first station is Chevron.

One exit further down the price was 3.79! oops...

is there somewhere else to 'report' them? They'll probably get away with it anyway and say its costs more to get the fuel trucks way out there.

The stretch from Barstow to Vegas is driven quite a bit, it's a pretty popular highway I used to live in Barstow so I'm familiar with the area, it shouldn't cost *that* much of a difference, they are just the only spot that's easily accessible so they can mark it up beyond reason.
