The first part to my sound system will be installed in the mornin. It is very hard to find this brand around here. Even harder to find it at a resanable price.
MB Qurts. I found two 10" sub's for my rear panel I need to build. fit right over my rear light's. I have done some wireing today, will finish in the mornin. now all I got to find is Two 6x9's, Amp, and Radio, all of witch got to be MB Qurt's. I have been wanting a all MB Qurt's system for a while now. And starting to finaly come together. Wish me luck I not blow or fry nothin on wireing

 

I insatalled the sound and met up with a freind today. Got me a cd player. It was easy to hook up also, just need her mounted now. Today my car went Bump Bump for the first time. all it is is my 2 sub's. but she went bump bump. 2 6x9's on the way. thinkin the bottom of door is a good place to put them.

 

if you dont have power windows then the lower front part of your door will work but if you got power windows, you wont be able to put any speakers down there cuz thats where the motor for your power windows are located. why are you getting the MB Quart 6x9 by the way? thier componet speakers are way better.. you can adjust your levels from the cross over that comes with the components.. im running MB Quart components in my car.

 

I am not running (or any time soon) mb quart 6x9's. I am just running 6x9 3 way speaker's till I can build a full MB quart system. My amp ain't a MB, nor is cd player. just the sub's are mb quart for now. but it goes bump bump. And my windows are power'd. so if I can mount on dorr's. let me know a good place. I got to grease up the gear's in the mornin(there running a lil hard, but then 22 year's of service will do a number). I will be sure to look for a good place then.

 

From what it sounds like, is that you can still put speakers in the doors, just slightly more of a pain. You'd either have to set the speakers lower, or make a spacer or something, so that the speakers sit out just enough so that the windows can go down behind them.

 

Ok, installing a radio was easy as pie. I just found a big red wire, and a big black one. hooked em up. and I had power. What is not so easy is Ant. My radio(most do) has a power ant wire. but there's only 1 wire. and the buttion for ant has three. Any one know how to hook it up so it work's? or am i stuck with "The Buttion"
