Empty screw hole on top of intake manifold..normal?

I just pulled my air regulator to see if it might be to blame for the problems my Z's been having in hot running conditions.

When I did so I noticed an empty screw hole on the top of the intake manifold. (See pic), just behind the air regulator.

Is this normal?

Thanks in advance for any tips

yeah, stuff like that is pretty normal. there is so much unnecessary "Stuff" on the intake manifolds that its not abnormal for any used z to be missing a few screws outta the manifold. as long as all the equipment is there, then an empty anchor point for miscellaneous wiring and such is fine. and lookin at that one, i'm gonna tell ya thats not your hot running problem.

We could use a better pic... but it looks to be the stock mounting location for the j-pipe bracket.

Maybe one of the wiring harness ground connections goes there.

Thanks Bleach - just wanted to make sure that that empty hole couldn't possibly affect performance.

For a second, my ignorant self thought that I may have found a simple solution to my Z's performance issues

If it is not a hole all the way through, then its fine. that's the bottom line.
