I have a 1983 280ZX non-turbo that I salvaged for the 5 sp trans,fly wheel, drive shaft and diff. This will be going into a restored '72 240Z behind the rebuilt L24 engine. The car is basically junk: there is no salvageable sheet metal other than the hatch w/ glass, maybe the left T top. Other than the engine are there any components that may be desirable for other 280ZXs as parts? I am not familiar with this series of Zs. It has three sound wheels and the center caps, The car sat outside for15 years after the wreck and before that sat in garage for ten years. As I understand it the fuel injection works were redone not long before the wreck. It has 43,000+ accurate miles on it. Please let me know what might have valve?
