Different Transmissions or Rear Ends?

Different Transmissions or Rear Ends?
I have two '83 NA ZX 5 speed transmissons and 2 '83 rear ends. Do all 83 NA have the same rear end and tranny?
If there is a difference, how do i tell them apart, are they stamped or what?
Which one makes my car perform the best?
I am going to get rid of my parts car and want to keep anything that will be needed down the road. Code Enforcement is pushing me.
