In Japan, L28 based turbo charged motors using this style of induction commonly produce hp in the 500-700 HP range with some of the really well built L motors building over 800hp. Thats without NOS
Ill beleive that when I see it

Yeah, that guy is full of crap. There are probably fewer than 5 street driven L28's with that setup that have ever made power at those levels.

We're talking about triple Mikuni's here, not ITB's. Fuel management at those hp levels is extremely difficult with carbs.

Im pretty sure you can buy a brand new Lonewolf Intake and fuel rail powedercoated any color you want for $600 so its not a good deal by any means.

What do you guys think of this?

jfairladyz 08-03-2006 07:55 PM

pretty crummy pics and kind of shady details for it being a full on race head. But if it's legit then it's a good deal.

looks like one of the early heads. Probably a 280Z open chambered head with aftermarket turbo and J-pipe on NA electronics. Before the 1981 turbo came out. don't waste your money, buy a whole freakin' turbo engine for $500 or so.
