I FOUND ONE AT THE PICK AND PULL TODAY ....STOKED ...IT ONLY COSTED ME TEN BUCKS AND I GOT A tps TO ....SUPER STOKED ......THERE WAS A 2+2 THERE THAT WAS THE SAME AS MY CAR ....THE ECU HAD THE SAME # 620 600 ...I TRYED TO BUY IT BUT HE WOULDNT SELL IT FOR UNDER $50 BUCKS ...I DIDNT HAVE THE CASH AND I HAVE ONE ON THE WAY FOR $60 RIGHT NOW ....OWELL I WILL SLAP THIS PULLY ON AFTER I GET MY NEW CRANK KEY TODAY OR TOMARROW ...UPS MITE BRING IT TODAY ...I WAS WIERD THE CAR THAT I PULLED THE PULLY FROM DIDNT HAVE A CRANK KEY

 

Why did you need a 2+2 ECU?

 

He's collecting them. Black will have the largest stockpile of ECU's in the country before he gets this problem solved or finally admits it's not a problem with the ECU!

shoulda got the crank key from a 4-cyl L-series. 510, 610, truck up to 1980... something like that.

 

Well, I guess I now own a spare crank pulley...

IAM GETTING AS MANY ECU'S as i can..... that way i can sell them for big $$$$$$$ ....it dont matter that its a 2+2 ...the # on the ecu lets you know if it goes with your car or not .....the # on my ecu A11 620-600 ....this is same # that was in that car ....the options that this 2+2 had were just the same as mine ......the car was made in 7/80
i looked at the plate ...it had a p79 head and a f54 block all of the power options were the same ...the car was made in 80 and sold as a 81 ...really that 2+2 had alot of useable parts.....i would like to go pick the whole thing up and bring it home ...the ttops where in awsome shape all of the motor clips and such looked in top notch shape .......
IWW i know its not my ecu but having extras when you own a zcar is
the only way to go. .

bleach i got the pulley off the gold zx.... there is a crank key there but it wont come out ..owell i orderd one from msa they only cost 81. cents .....i think it will be here tomarrow.....i cant beleave that "pel out peet" didnt have a crank key in his car ..
his timing would have never been right and i would have been impossable to set it to top dead center

 

I have a spare key now too...
