Lots of install instructions on the intrawebs... here is the main one from AtlanticZ.
FYI... "Opening" the boost controller won't increase the boost. You have to CLOSE down the boost controller, not all the way, but you have to reduce the boost to the wastegate, so it delays the port from opening. :D http://www.atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/turbo/index.html http://www.atlanticz.ca/zclub/techti...ed280turbo.jpg |
good to know thanks alot

Also, do you have an aftermarket boost gauge? You will need one to properly adjust a MBC... otherwise you won't know how much it's boosting.
Secondly, MBC's have more cons than pros. Actually, the only pro is that it's cheap. They are prone to boost spikes, and are cumbersome to adjust. Electronic Boost Controllers are very accurate, and you can adjust from the cockpit while driving (nice for when you need "a lil extra boost in a hurry"). |
yea i do have an aftermarket boost gauge.. and do u know where i can get an electric boost gauge

In a nut shell, yes.
