Whoa looks good! Very nice man. What's the offset for those rims? Are they 7" wide? I really gotta start saving up for rims too cause that looks killer.

thos are 7" wide with a 42mm offset.. i think thats the largest offset i can go with.. lol i got the spacers from modern-motorsprts and got the rims for a deal on E bay.. when i put them on this weekend i was kinda scared cuz they are a lot bigger then the wheels i had on before.. i wasnt sure they were gonna fit.. but they came out perfect.. no rubbing or anything...

...and do you just have the Motorsport 1 inch lowering springs? Did you do anything else to the springs? Your car's ride height is just perfect. Not too high in the front like the 280zx is stock.

actually im using the whole tokico package with springs and struts. when i was rideing with origional 14" rims my car would scrape everytime i went up the driveway.. once i went with the 17s it raised the car back up at almost 3/4" but it didnt take anything away from the look.. the car rides and handles better with thease huge rims.. not to mention they look awsome.. i didnt do anything else to my suspenson other then the springs and struts.. i do need to change all my bushings and get a camber kit for both front and rear.. and for tickwons question on my valve covers.. all i did was paint them with hi temp aluminum paint.. but on my next engine i think im gonna try getting chrome..

hey Iceice9....

..on your Tenzo rims..are those the 8 lug hole or 10? You got a good price for $100. Best $ I have seen is $159 new and as high as $197.

MSA offers the Konigs for 3 bills (includes offset). Yikes !!

Like they say...copying is the best form of flattery. You have a sweet ride.

However, in your area there are a lot more Z's running around and the competition for looks is tough. Not so in New England. Z's are like Elvis sightings...not too many.
