the chane wont go back on ???????
ummm before ou took off the cam sprocket .. did you use a wedge to keep the chain tensioner compressed cuz if you didnt.. you might have just ****ed yourself.... well not really. you just have a lot more work ahead of you...
its to tight like less the an 1/8 of an inch i got it all back together after my head gasket came today and it wouldnt start ........... it sounded like it was a tooth off and i thought that because because when i was putting it ..back together it looked off so i pulled it apart and when i did that ...........the chane droped i think becauce it wont go back on
.
WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO NEXT................ I have to move monday i need this car

The chain tensioner popped out a little (or all the way and is lodged against the curved chain guide)
You HAVE to pull the balancer (by hand, I've done it that way 5 times!) and front cover. You can have it off, chain on properly and back together in 3-4 hours.
As long as you get the oil pump installed on the correct tooth, you should be off and running assuming you didn't screw something up with the head gasket. But I can't say....
