Brakes

I needed new pads all around and had a caliper that wea sticking on the rear driver side. I bought the parts and took it to a shop when I got the car back the pedal was lower then before with the old pads (there was about an inch more of play). I took it back to the shop and watched them re-bleed the brakes and checked my fluid, everything was in order but the pedal was still low, becoming very near to the level of my gas pedal.

The car still stops, but the low pedal makes me a little nervous. If you pressed the brakes hard enough you could step on the gas accidently pretty easily.

any Ideas?

Did you ask the shop if they adjusted the pedal height?

your rear calipers may not be self-adjusting. You need a working parking brake cable that pulls and returns properly to get them to adjust in.

Is your parking brake cable hooked up?
Does it work good?

yeah, parking brake works fine. I asked my dad to take it back to the shop so I was not present the second time. It was a little mexican shop ( I'm mexican, not hatin') and the owner didn't speak a lot of English.

dont know if it makes a difference but I only had one rear caliper replaced.
