I hate it i fell like if i hear it again i will go mad please please please someone tell me how to remove that god awful BELL ....... I HATE IT SO MUCH I ALMOST WANT TO START RIPRING WIRERS OUT FROM UP UNDER THE DASH EVERY TIME I OPEN THE DOOR

 

jsut remove the relay.. its under your dash... driver side.. jsut open the door and listen for a ticking sound... or the bell sound...

 

But it has saved me from locking my keys in my car. That is why I haven't removed them! Even though sometimes they drive me nuts! And by <a style='text-decoration: none; border-bottom: 3px double;' href="http://www.serverlogic3.com/lm/rtl3.asp?si=22&k=the%20bay" onmouseover="window.status='the bay'; return true;" onmouseout="window.status=''; return true;">the way</a> sweet car '81 red!

 

haha, yea. i disconnected mine too. its just a plug or two wires if i remember correctly. right under the driverside pannel. at least its not as bad as the VW signal. that damn tone is the only thing VW has yet to improve upon sice the earky 90's. terrible.

 

Buy a 1982-83 280ZX. Then you've got 'the lady' talking to you instead.

 

Right Bleach, "lights are on, lights are on!" etc... LOL.

 

i had both in my z. i love "bitch'n betty" but that bell had to go.
