They no longer hold pressure.... one of the not so great features of having an aftermarket body kit.

ohh.. okay, i just got the kit off and then put the support on and now it all fits.. but the hood didnt really clear it, i sand it down a bit and then now the hood bearly clears.. and idea on that?

I actually have the same prob. I used an inline sander w/ 30 grit paper & took off about a quarter inch of that inside lip. My hood still catches so I'll have to sand more before I paint.

Has anyone else had a prob w/ the MSA II front bumper catching the hood?

If you let "too much air" out of the bumper shock mounts. Yes, it will hit the hood more so when all the air is out of mounts. But then again, these do require sanding down a bit on the fiberglass.

Yes, if it's pushed too far back it will hit the hood, but then it also won't fit at the fenders correctly. Mine still catches & it's wrapped around the fenders tightly.

I had to take a dremel to mine. There were some areas where 1/2" or so needed to be trimmed back and there were other parts that only needed maybe an 1/8". I just installed the bumper and then tried to open the hood. I held the hood open and marked an outline of where the hood caught on the bumper as a guide for cutting the bumper. My hood clears the bumper by a hair.
