B/W T5 tranny for sale
well... i finally put together the driveline on my 260z.. and even though the trannies were the same lengths, the mount for the mustache bar were 1 inch difference in mounting points. sooooo... yeah i cant use my awsome T5 tranny im hella pissed, but good news is i can make money off of it... its really clean in good conditin out of the car it runs threw all the gears... and its a borg warner T5. sooo ITS FOR SALE!!!!! dad says no less than 250 dollars... so thats the starting bid ;) want pics? ask and ill post some probably a minute after i read it.

oh yeah.. and while i wont pay for shipping.. i can most likely hook you up for a good price on shipping. wont be to bad so dont let that turn you off from the idea of purchasing....
or i may consider a trade if you have a 5spd tranny that would fit my car... i forget what its called... anyone help? 5spd made for the s30's??? |
ah, i got one of those trannys, its even got all steel shift forks, its the good one when racing, that why i got it!

Re-drill the one hole in the transmission mount so it fits.
Also you need to use the 280ZX turbo driveshaft and have it shortened. Didn't you know all this when you did research before you tried to install it? Those T5's can be put into the S30. The S30 5-speed is a 280Z or 280ZX 5-speed. You might need to use an R200 rear though. |
i dont know if i need to.. but i want to use an R200... adn meh. i odnt feel like it... i would rather sell it. buy some nice stuff for my car that would be more usefull at this point. ive been on arizonazcar.com alot lately... and they have some stuff im interested in... very.... especially the Q45 R200 moustache bar they make so i cna do an all bolt in procedure.. but at teh same time its a vague description they go ont he site.. like what one would completely need from them to complete teh swap.. and plus id still need to knwo what i would need completly lol. never done the swap before.

For the Q45 shortnose R200, you need to fabricate a custom front diff mount and custom CVs.

arizonazcar makes a complete mounting set up for the Q45.. so all i would need is custom CV's then huh... thats cool. thanks for that. back to selling junk now lol
