ok! this 02 senser will not come out..... went to auto zone used their tool, would not move... bought some pb blastor, soaked it down for three days, my friend brought his socket form work & still no luck....
so I drove to his work, used a torch & glowed it up. it still will not budge.....
with that said do any of you have any idea"s.... I'am sure someone has had this problem....
what are my options ????? 02 sensor is toast after the torch thing......

I think someone on here suggested to me when I couldn't get one off to break the body of the O2 sensor off so you can fit a socket on it. I think this might be the best route...long extension and a long ratchet to put some leverage on it.
If need be Darril I have a long Tq wrench and plenty of sockets...and time. Oh and I have Liquid Wrench...the Blue can...blows the PB Blaster away. Bring yourself over...we WILL get it out.

ok! so should the down pipe come out of the car.....
to make it easyer to work on, their's not a lot of room, for a big breaker bar.....
whats the easyest thing here? should I try to keep the stock cast iron down pipe. or have a new one made... what have some of you turbo guys done.........thanks hermultra

Yanking the old downpipe can be a biotch. The easiest way is to unbolt the exhaust @ the front of the cat & at the turbo, to drop that whole section.
I say homemade downpipe FTW! I made mine from 1/4" (maybe it was 1/2"?) thick plate steel & 2.5" mandrel bent pipe.

you're stuck.
If you get a stocket on there, you could twist the O2 sensor right off inside the downpipe. That's your best bet. Just be prepare to replace the downpipe. Use antiseize on the new O2 sensor.
My stock downpipe had no threads left. I had to carefully seat that O2 sensor in there and hope that it would stay put until I put a custom downpipe on... or sold the car.
