Ok ive read that you can put a small block 350 in a 280zx i am really wanting to do this and was wondering what all has to be done in order for the 350 to work in my Z i have a 79 280zx what all modifications will have to be made and what all parts will i need to change?

 

zcarparts.com has all of the mounts for it. I'm not so big into V8's...

 

Do some searching around on Hybridz.org They have already gone over every detail you never even thought you'd have to know about so they should be more than happy to help you out. I for one see that board as my next to second home! Next to this one of course! There is also a company called JTR (jags that run) that, last time I heard, we're going to be making parts for the small block 280zx swap. I havn't checked in a bit because I decided on a bigger engine. Anyways, I hope my rambling has helped in some way shape or form.

Yeah, that's the one thing I dont like about the board. Its practically a game, who can chew out the noobie first. Personally, I'm more into helping people.
