any way i think he said he replaced the the whole rear end and did so with regular more conventional parts but, that may have been a different car, we've lost count.
every 1.5 years my dad has had a different car or truck.
ranging from $50 VW rabbits to brand new Miatas, some rare cars in between. nothing extra ordinary though just something stupid that makes em rare. wiki says his porsche 914 was rare, it was black with yellow trim, it says 500 were produced., it was nice but talk about pouring money into a hole in the drive way....man
