Does anyone know where I can get the metal plate that goes around the automatic shifter??

Try Victoria British or Motorsport. I was just on E-bay and somebody was selling a Automatic shifter for a ZX. Try typing in 280zx shifter, or 280 zx shifter. Hope this helps
