280zx at HIN
I just went to hin in seattle washington yesterday, and after telling my friend how rare it would be to see a 280zx there she was. it was silver with euro body kit, celica headlights, a trunk!, and convertable top!
the interior was completely stock (except the racing seats and no hatch area. I will try to post some pics as soon as I can get them developed and scanned, you may also want to check the hot imports sight for pictures of the show when they are posted.
anyway It was just awsome to see a 280zx at the show. not to mention the 280z and 240z outside drifting the streets
too bad mine is parked for the moment while I drive my mr2 I would have loved to have joined the fun

i dont know... it doent look like it fit too well.. the corner just looks way off.. personally i like the stock sugar scoops better.. maybe with a diffrent headlight.. i was thinking of doing a mod to mine but using the wrx combonstion headlights.. keep them round and keep the sugar scoop look.. but i do like one thing about his car... the color... lol i thik that may be the same color ive got on my car
the guy that did the conversion also had to reatach his hood differently, because he had to cut at the hood to fit the lights. If you look in the picture you can see some hinges attached to the hood. The car was pretty rough looking there. The person said the project wasn't complete and decided to bring it anyways though. He wasn't kidding either. One of the door handles was installed upside down for some reason. The body kit didn't looke like it was installed very well, but the car still looked good from a distance where you couldn't see those little imperfections
I like the look of the Celica headlights. I think they are much more narrow than the 350Z headlights so they fit the fenders better. Too bad about the hack job on the hood though. I did notice that the edge of the hood was modified. Its hard to tell how much of the hood or fender were modified. Probably both quite a bit. I still wouldn't mind having that mod if the hood opened up right. Too much work for me though. I'll stick with round headlights and clear covers.
