Does anyone have an ignition module for a 1981 280zx 2+2? The production year for my z is 12/80. I live in San Diego.

First, look on your ignition module and see if it's labeled "e12-80" or "e12-92", that will confirm which one you need.

You should check CraigsList, eBay or Kragen/Parts America/AutoZone.

If I were you, I would try the GM HEI ignition module conversion for about $20:

The only difference is you don't need a distributor from a '77 or '78 280Z.
