As the title indicates, the turn indicators on my 280ZX light up, but they stay solid and do not flash. This happens on both right and left indicator. The hazard lights still work and they blink properly. When I first did my research, I found that it may be turn signal flasher relay that may be the problem, so I bought this one and installed it, but the problem still exists. The wiring still seems to be in good condition as well.

Any other ideas on what I can try?

 

When you turn on the blinker does the actual blinker (front and rear) light up along with the dash indication?

 

Yeah the actual light turns on along with the dash indication. However, both the light and the dash indication don't blink, they just stay solid.

 

There are 2 flasher units. Small one you have a link for is for the hazard. There is also a large one for the signals

 

Ah got it, thanks! Just confirmed by turning on the hazard lights and feeling the blinking coming from the smaller one. Do you know here I can find the larger turn signal flasher unit? When I look online I mostly see the smaller one.

 

Just look for a 3 prong flasher unit. Here is a NOS unit
