When I am driving down the highway at 65mph my car loses all power with no warning. All guages appear normal including tach, but no power when I step on the gas. I have to pull off the road and turn off the key. Upon restarting the car it takes me a short distance and stalls again It does this 2-3 times and then runs fine. I can go days without it stalling and then it starts all over again. Please any suggestions?? Thanks for any help!!!!!!!!!

I know mine does something similar, every once in a while the tach starts surging a little, and a little less often then that, the car will stall out. and when I stop the car completely, It's stalled out, no warning, no noises.

The problem with mine is that the distributer is loose and every once in a while, it's not hitting where it's supposed to.

maybe they are similar problems, or maybe I'm just talking.. >_<
