I've always been happy with NAPA too, just thought that OEM injectors were preferred. But it sounds like thats not the case.

I'm not sure if the bolt is broken or just missing, I couldn't really see very well there. I'll have a look tonight with a mirror and see if I can see any evidence. Hopefully there will just be a hole there.

FYI, I paid 45 bucks for a single injector from Napa. It came with the small gasket that goes on the bottom of the injector, but they said they couldn't get the larger gasket that you have to remove to get the metal part off. They said you have to get that from the dealer. Not sure what the warranty on the injector was, but it certainly seems to work. I'm halfway tempted to replace the other five of mine just so I won't have to worry about them again for a long time.

It's more than likely broken off... That last stud is well known for breaking.

You can get the large O-rings at AutoZone... and NAPA should have them too. 280zx injectors aren't special... they are the same physical outter size as many other injectors like on Fords, Mazdas, Toyotas, Hondas, etc.

Some stuff is deffinately better OEM... but Nissan doesn't make injectors... Companies like Bosch & Denzo do.
Also Beck Arnley's, which I have on my Z. And I got them from B.A.P. import parts. Not sure if they are nationwide or not. But just over $400, and they come with a one year warranty. Everything you need, to install them, and they are brand new. And they have no core charge, which is what I liked.
