Whats the Best ECU for the job? / long time no read
Hey ya'll
long time since i've posted but I'm back on track now that its summer and i've spent the last 9 months away from my car (for the most part) and i have a question. After researching my memory I have come upon the conclusion that instead of buy new l28et injectors I already have 5 mustang SVO injectors. I figured I would buy one more, but the flow rate is much larger, heres the information I have but I figured i'd ask the pros :023: what ECU would work best with these injectors? Merkur XR4TI / Ford SVO – Can be found in Merkur, Cougar, Thunderbird, Mustang SVO 1985-88 turbo models. Can attach a hose with clamp for stock fuel rail. Year/Model/CC/ Impedence/Part#/Color 2.3L Turbo / 370 / Low / E5ZE-9F593-AB / Brown (Stay away from green they are 315cc) http://members.cox.net/linec/comparison.jpg let me know what you think so i can buy one off ebay. I do have the stock '83 ecu and wiring already fitted so hopefully I will just be able to swap the ECU out *gulp* ":075:" or ":038:"? |
The question is... How much do you want to spend?
As for your statement:

Also, there are other (lower than 370cc) injectors that will work with your stock 280zxt ecu... |
does your turbo 260 2+2 even freaking work yet?
|
it WILL work once i get home!! i went home for break and long story short didn't get alot of time into it!! plus i've been stuck in the terrible state of illionis for school for the past eternity...

shut your mouth, this state is amazing! it just needs lower taxes in the city and nicer weather. you just need to be around for more of the summer time than winter to appreciate it. the inbetween seasons (spring and fall) are just drawn out way to long. thats the only reason i consider leaving this state and going south. when you done with school anywho? im out in tree weeks
