what now?

what now?

ok, i fixed the starter / flywheel problem i had.
now the new starter acts like the battery is dead...slow crank....then starts right up. sometimes.

alternater is good
battery 8 months old.
starter is new

what gives?

maybe you need new battery cables.. smaller ones possibly. Also add an extra ground from the block back to the battery.

cables are pretty small already.
it's already grounded from the block.
i found a short in the headlight switch.
my fusable link fried.
headlight connector fried.(steering column)


i hate electrical!!!!!!!
