Perhaps not mentioning computer hardware was an oversight. As far as I know, all those kits will come with either an updated, reconfigured ECU, a piggyback system that plugs in with the ECU, or has a standalone system. Some even have programmers that plug into the diagnostic port and reflash the ECU with a new code for the increased boost.
The additional injector controller would work, but there's a lot of configuring and what not that's involved with that, as well as a standalone system. You're best bet is to go with a stock ECU from a turbo car, and run the additional lines / sensors that it requires.
I'm actually in the process of doing this, although I will use either a MegaSquirt n'Spark system, or an Electromotive TEC-III system. There's a lot of fabrication, tuning, etc. involved in turbocharging a naturally-aspirated engine, so don't think it's all a bolt-on, plug-in affair - there's much more to it. I plan on running 10-12 pounds through my engine, which would otherwise not be possible without extensive tuning and attention to finite details. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for the easy things, but some things are harder than others. If easy's what you're looking for, just swap in a turbo engine and ECU.
Hope this helps - questions and comments welcome ...

It says LOW BOOST RISING RATE FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR, with low boost just a rising rate fuel pressure regulator is okay, stand alone engine management is for higher boost, it must be the fast and the furious, but everyone now automatically assumes you need a stand alone, My 3rd gen Eclipse non turbo lived for almost 3 years with a to4e, with 12 - 14 pounds daily beat on with just a AFC-2. And the only reason it died was because I hit a Semi truck, not my fault, and ripped the roof off.

So it wasn't that you were between two semi trucks and they smashed you and ran over your car?

His fault! Going down the road behind a semi, he puts his left blinker on and starts to go to the left, then all of a sudden goes to the right to make a sharp turn across 3 lanes of traffic, I slam on the brakes, turn to the right and DUCK. No damage to car except broke the a pillar and ripped the roof straight up. About 2 feet of roof! He told the cops that I had to be speeding, and that I came out of no where. They measured the skid marks and everything. I was only doing about 40 and the speed limit was 45, so they gave him a couple tickets. Helped me get my car from under the truck and off the road. His insurance paid 10k for my car. Only 3 years old with only 43k miles on it. Oh, and the best part was I got a seat belt ticket, But if I had been wearing my seat belt my head would have been taken off or impaled on the a pillar. When i sat up the pillar was only about a half inch away from my face, and no roof. Sometimes there is just no justice....

Wow, that's scary. The two semi joke was a scene from Fast and Furious2.
I've almost been hit by semis that had the turn signal burned out on the trailer, but after I got run off the road, I see just the tractor has the signals on. He though I was being rude so he just changed lanes anyway. CHECK YOUR LIGHTS!

<insert OMG smiley here> Damn, VegaZ, sounds like this hasn't been your year ...

I'm wondering if anyone's going to tell a story of how they were knocking off a semi with 3 black Civics, and gets run off the road ...

Just a word of warning, if the liscense plate frame on a semi says "Keep honking, I'm reloading" - believe it. Not that I'm speaking from experience or anything ...

Also, I had a '90 Pontiac Sunbird GT Turbo a while back, and I ran 12 pounds through it (over double what it ran stock) with only a FPR, and it lasted, oh, about 6 months ... but it also died from an accident. The engine is now in a sand-rail.
