i do understand that the F54 block & P79 would be the best...the guy i bought my ZX from just bought a '72 Z & is doing a 302V8 swap. so now i have a chance at getting the E88 head. since these motors were carbed, is the head designed any different as to not bolt-on correctly becuz i'm Fuel Injected? or should i just go straight to the N47 i planned on?

 

it is my understanding that the intakes will enter-change,and that you can put the e88 on the f-54, but it will raise your compression considerably,since your f-54 has flat top pistons and the older ones were dished.

i found out my orig intake manifold needs to be customized becuz of the difference of carb & fuel injection. guess i'll get that N47 i planned on, hopefully it's still there.
