update

You guys asked me to keep you guys updated. So here it is. I would post pics but I can't figure out how. But I just got my new engine in and got it back from the exaust shop. Got 3 inch mandrel bent pipe with a flowmaster mufler. It runs good but still got a few thing so fix that maybe you guys can help me out. It's an 82 280zx turbo.

1-Do you guys have any problem with vapor lock with the preformance fuel rail?

2-It runs great intell the trottle is more then 75% to the foor, any more it cuts out. Any ideas?

3-Is the ecu the same for auto then for 5sp?

Nope... (I assume you mean a Pallnet aluminum fuel rail?)

AFM? TPS? Fuel injectors? Spark plugs?

Yep...

:D

How'd it run before all this work?

It ran good intell the alternator went out. So I replaced that, then I went head with a 5sp swap. Then found out the engine was blown. Rebuilt that now I'm having these problems.

So I unpluged the TBS and now the car runs great. So does that mean bad TBS?

TPS (throttle position sensor) ;) Anyway, either it's dirty contacts on the plug or the TPS itself. Or maybe it is internally bad. Or it could be set too rich, or too lean. Just some tips, because I have dealt with it before. Good luck man.

You can either host the pictures on a website such as photobucket.com and use the URL they give you or when you click reply, scroll down before replying and find the Attach Files area with a Manage Attachments button. Click that and add away my friend.
