Hi all,
I have an 82 280zx, non-turbo that cuts out momentarily after the engine warms up. It's usually after about 30 minutes of driving. I can usually get it restarted by popping the clutch and it will go for awhile and sometimes never cut out again for days. Sometimes it tries to cut out two or three times but usually picks itself back up.....my friends tell me the ECU, others the fuel pump.....any ideas. The only thing I have time to notice when this happens is the tach dropping off.

its your ignition modual.. very common problem... its located on the side of your distributer.. its the back square piece.. swap it out and you should be fine...
