If the relay works, the pump works, what would you look at next? what goes in between the relay and pump?

If you are getting power to the relay, but not to the pump, dont you think, you should check the wiring?

If you can't figure it why your electric fuel pump works when you put a battery too it, but doesnt work when you installed it, then you have no business working on any car. It has been spelled out atleast four times in this thread what you need to do.

ok ok misunderstanding it is installed, all lines everything. i hooked up a quick kill switch to it because i couldn't figure out why it won't run by itself ok? i'll look over all the wires (again) to see what i can find. so what i'm saying is that with it installed and running so to say its not pumping gas from the tank (forgot to add, lines and filters are new). i let the pump run for a few mins pull the lines still get nothing. so i guess i have to be very specific for everyone to understand without looking like a complete idiot.

If this doesn't make sense or makes me look even more stupid then i give up. BTW i've worked on alot of cars just mostly all mechanical non-electrical stuff

there is nothing BUT wiring between the relay and the pump! CHECK YOUR ****ING WIRING!!!! if you relay is clicking on, but their is no juice to the pump, then you obviously have a short in the system! Its not my fault your too ****ing stupid to actually try and find the problem!

ITS SIMPLE! electric fuel pumps require electricity and a good ground! THATS IT! what is so ****ing complicated about that? pull your head out of your *** and go diagnose your ****ing car! It is not difficult to figure out! you are not performing brain surgery, you are not building a space ship to fly to the moon! Put some ****ing effort into figuring it out!

If you let the pump run, DID YOU HEAR THE PUMP OR NOT to be positive that it runs, If you hear it and still don't get any fuel then your pump is obviously not working.
This is one of the most simple fuel systems you can work with and shouldn't be hard at all to diagnosis

If I weren't laughing so hard, I would be banning people right now...

It's ok to ask questions. It's just imperative that your questions are absolutely clear and formed using "accepted" english grammar structure so we can decipher what you are asking.

You need to describe exactly what you've done so far to diagnose the problem in a clear step by step method. Something like:

My fuel pump doesn't pump gas when I turn on the ignition.

1. checked the fuel pump relay and it clicks when I turn the ignition on.
2. checked the fuel pump by running a new power wire to the positive side of the fuel pump power connector and it works fine when this new wire has power.

Any ideas?
