The pictures pretty much shows what I had to do to fit this sucker. Let me know if you need any more info as I will have to sit down and write it up.

Nnnniiiccceee!!!!! Now that's what I'm talking about. I see the light! Can you tell I finally saw you pics? Ha Ha. I like where you moved the ECCS cansister...I always wondered about that. How did you make the rear strut bar again? And this is off the topic...how does your 6x9 speakers sound where you have them? I thinking of a new place to put mine. I have those 6x9 boxes...I don't really like it. Thanks for the visuals. So many question, huh? :D

Hey chef_tickwon, the rear strut bar took me a total of 20 minutes to make...infact, it was the easiest thing I've done to my Z :D All you need is Conduit piping that you can get for like $5 at Home Depot. Can't remember the diameter but I think it was something like 1.5" (don't take my word for it). Next thing you have to do is cut out a notch on both sides of the strut cover because the piping will have to come down a bit so you can bolt it down (see pic on the above link) Once you have both sides trimmed out, measure the length of the piping you will need and make sure you leave yourself enough piping to work with on each side. Next, take a hammer and flatten out each side. Mark and match the holes you need to make and drill it out. Paint the pipe and drop it on the strut and bolt each side down. Lastly, re-install the strut tower cap. It was cake...let me know if you any other questions...glad to help :D



Forgot to answer you on the 6x9's. I like where they are at. It seemed the most logical place to put it as I originally had a huge system in the car and needed the back space for the box. I have since gotten rid of all the stereo system to save weight (concentrating more on performance). It does sound good though but now I'm just bumping treble lol.

on mine too....well i jus went n looked at the 1.5 inch pipes....theyr damn wide.....maybe 1 1/4?? even 1" seems good....

conduit...is that like copper pipe or aluminum or what the heck is it...(some english words are still new to me)

yeah i have my 6x9 pretty much same place but where the 6" or whatever used to go just cut out the holes....work awsome...

ok found everything and also im gonna do this....
get that bolt that has thread different on each side....so when u turn it one way it tightens both sides....:) then im gonna get 2 nuts (ehe shut up, dont make jokes lol) and weld em to each end of pipe...and voila i got my adjustable rear tower brace :)
