oil temp gauge
 

hey what sends a signal to the oil temp gauge? The gauge in my 82 (turbo) wasn't measuring anything, so I checked my manuals and couldn't find anything about it? :102:

you mean oil pressure gauge?

if its stock ZXt gauges you have an oil pressure, water temp, volts, and a boost gauge

The oil temp sensor is in the oil pan by the drain plug.

The only pic I have atm (testing in hot water)...

good news for me :D iv been wanting to instal an oil temp in the 240Zt

These are still available right? I just checked msa and it wasn't even listed on the site or catalog.

Some places have them for sale. I know Nissan / MSA / BDA all have them on back order, but I was able to grab this one from Napa. I also bought another on ebay when I thought they weren't being produced anymore. You have to remove the oil temp sensor from the threaded part & insert the new sensor into it.
