i had it on mine for some time, great little kicker for a turbo motor. if you plan to put it on a n/a flat top engine you will be running some serious H.C. Ended up giving it to a good friend he he now has it on a dish piston n/a and running really STRONG for him.

I found a 1984 maxima being parted out, but it was listed as an 85. That bought me time because it was being parted out since before xmas. I was considering putting it on a dished piston. Did your friend use a stock cam?

oh yeah, I just took the head and intake/exhaust manifolds, as one. The throttle body looks like it may be a little smaller. The exhaust manifold looks different than my 260z. Think its any good?

if the manifold comes out at the right spot and has larger runners than its good, if it comes out somewhere else that wont work in your car then no. most l series parts will go together, so its a trial thing. everyones combo is different in some way. your freind for the tb is a measuring tool in this case.
