L28s

You guys all talk about the L28E.What does the E stand for? if anything.Cause if that is a engine # my car has the engine number starting with L28S.It's a South African car so does the S mean South Africa and E Europe? I've tried looking for info but with no luck and I have no clue. So any help or knowlage would be great.

Thanks

Beez

It stands for fuel injection. That's just Nissans code for engines that come with fuel injection. I'm not sure what the S would stand for though.
