ok what injectors are same as in a 81 na 280zx? ibroke the lil plastic tip on one of mines....also it fell down the injector hole will that screw me up!?

Yeah That Would Go Into The Engine And Poss. Damage Somethin. Injectors Can Be Bought New, Used, Rebuilt, Z's From 79-83na Had Same Injectors And The Pulsars Too.

I once dropped a washer down an intake port and spent all afternoon fishing that thing out - not fun. Your injector tip is just plastic though. It should mostly burn up during combustion. Even if the thing bounces around a few revs, it's still just plastic. Since you also don't have a turbine wheel to worry about, this is pretty low risk.

If you think it is smaller than a 1/4 inch you should be OK. As long as it is only plastic and nothing metal got in there. My friend drop and jet out of his carb down his manifold. It siezed the motor. So if you are sure it is plastic and small then you should be safe to just burn it out. I only worry about it exiting thru the exhaust valve.

yes its just a chip of the injector...yeah im woried abou that too..:( oh well thats what ya get for being stupid
