when i turn the key back to the lock position the fuel pump kicks on and the radio's fuse will blow. wtf??

 

Sounds like a voltage overload or bad wiring.If the switch was working good until then, that means it took it's last breath. Change it for a new or know good switch. Hope you get some help with my imput. "Happy new Year."
