Hello, this is my first post. I bought a 83zxt to gut it for the motor and drive train for my early 260z.
However...

After the initial walk around, [10seconds] it was clear that this car will be saved. The 260 can wait. The turbo mileage is
100k, with po's complete service log, including fuel stops....how many gallons and and how much was spent...

The problem was the turbo was going out, the car smoked and the owner dumped her....his loss is my gain. Bought her in Memphis for 1200 as is.

compression on cylinders is 142-138, leak down done....no problems.

The car smoked, the turbo seals shot, the owner dumped her...probably bought another toy, new.
She belongs to me now...and

I want to upgrade the turbo and the exhaust.

I want a 3" downpipe and exhaust.

I want to upgrade the turbo, the seals are shot, and there is oil in the J-pipe. Looking at a T-4 upgrade.

Problem is I own a landscape company in Southaven Mississippi, a suburb of Memphis Tn. And I don't have the time to source out the exhaust and turbo upgrade, I don't know where to look.
Where can you buy a complete 3" exhaust system and get the intake modifications needed for the turbo upgrade?

 

i have a t4 turbo from a buick grand national that is rebuilt, 450 plus shipping, dont know if it bolts on, but it is a wicked strong turbo capable of awesome hp numbers. it is external wastegate, so possiblities are endless. sounds like a reasonable goal. good luck and welcome to zdriver!!

 

can someone post the link to the build it was just posted on here, he can custom build an exhaust and for ya, at least i think. it was just on here search new formns or something
